-DO WE OFFER BOATS WITHOUT A CAPTAIN?
No, ALL of our boat rentals include a mandatory captain. Our veteran captains have extensive training and experience navigating the lake and will ensure the safety of your group. Let us take the hassle out of your lake day while you enjoy a safe and relaxing day off!
-CAN WE BRING FOOD AND DRINKS?
Yes, we recommend packing a soft type cooler for your snacks and food items.
Easy to eat hand foods are best. Sandwiches are easy. Don’t forget to bring napkins, paper plates and plastic cups!
We provide a cooler and ice for your beverages + an additional cooler with bottled water on ice, however space is limited for food items, especially with a full boat. Check with us if you have any questions or request.
-DO WE NEED TO BRING LIFEJACKETS?
Our boats are equipped with emergency life jackets.
Children under the age of 13 must wear a life jacket while the boat is under way.
We provide fitted life jackets for children under 13 years of age. Let us know if we need to accommodate any special requests for multiple children sized vests or oversized adult vests.
-HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?
*We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your departure time. Parking is limited and we recommend using a ride share service to meet us. Please Do Not Drink and Drive!
YOU MUST BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL TO ALL PARK RANGERS, TRAVIS COUNTY STAFF MEMBERS AND GAME WARDENS. OBSERVE PARK RULES: NO GLASS, STYROFOAM, or SMOKING ALLOWED.
-WHERE DO I PARK MY VEHICLE?
FOR 360 BRIDGE: Park Across the Entrance Under the Bridge. You Must Pay $5/Person to Enter the Park.
FOR WALSH LANDING: Park in the METERED PARKING LOT across the street from the Walsh Landing Park entrance. Gravel Parking Lots or Street Parking is available. *Make sure you pay the parking app or pay the parking meter and display the tag in your vehicle windshield.
-CAN WE GET PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF AT ANOTHER LOCATION?
*We can pick you up at almost any location on Lake Austin, just call us BEFORE booking your reservation so that we can best accommodate your request. (Additional cost may be added for travel time or travel time may be deducted to accommodate the request).
-WHAT IS OUR WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY?
*We want everybody to enjoy their lake experience but sometimes the weather doesn't comply. Under the circumstances that we experience Severe Thunderstorms, Heavy Wind, or Lightning during the time of your reservation, WE WILL CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION.
LIGHT RAIN, CLOUD COVER, and BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES DO NOT QUALIFY AS INCLIMENT WEATHER AND DO NOT QUALIFY FOR CANCELLATIONS. ALL WEATHER. RELATED CANCELLATIONS ARE THE SOLE DECISION OF LAKE AUSTIN PARTY BOAT RENTALS LLC.
We will follow weather updates and keep contact with you the day of your reservation to determine if a cancellation is necessary. We generally provide 1-2 hours notice for cancellations in the event of severe weather, however you must still plan to arrive for your reservation on time. If possible, we may attempt to delay the start time if weather looks more favorable.
Don't let the weather forecast scare you out of a great day on the Lake.
-WHAT IS OUR NON-WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATION POLICY?
*CANCELLATIONS 120 HOURS or LESS from your RESERVATION TIME AND DATE are subject to 100% of the TOTAL RESERVATION PRICE.
**CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO OUR BOATS OR PROPERTY. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BURNS AND TEARS ON BOAT INTERIOR VINYL, SEAGRASS FLOORING, BIMINI TOP, LILY PAD FLOATS, TOWABLE TUBES, LIFE JACKETS DAMAGED DUE TO USE AS A FLOTATION DEVICE WHILE SWIMMING, OUTBOARD ENGINE EXTERIOR, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES INCURRED BY CUSTOMERS. YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE MAY BE USED TO COVER ANY EXPENSE OF DAMAGES INCURRED BY YOUR GROUP.
LILY PAD FLOATS COST $500. THEY ARE NOT INDESTRUCTIBLE AND TEAR EASILY WHEN ROUGHED.
BURNS FROM SMOKING WILL RESULT IN A $300 FEE PER BURN. THERE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THE POLICY. RESPECT OUR POLICIES AND OUR BOATS PLEASE.
BIMINI FRAMES ARE NOT MONKEY BARS. DO NOT PULL ON THE BIMINI FRAMES OR ATTEMPT TO CLIMB ONTO THEM. BIMINI FRAMES AND CANVAS AVERAGE $1200-$2300 FOR REPLACEMENT.
